Description
Nestled on top of the black pebbles of the black sand beach at Sólheimasandur (Iceland) is an abandoned DC Plane.
The crash of the former US Navy Plane happened when the aircraft ran out of fuel.
It later turned out that the pilot had simply switched over to the wrong fuel tank causing the plane to come crashing down to earth.
Luckily everybody on board survived the crash.
